GranaBac: antimicrobial and biocompatible in one batch

We proudly present biocidal masterbatches of the GranaBac brand, which, after incorporation into conventional thermoplastics such as ABS, achieve a tailored mild to strong antibacterial effect (testing according to ISO 22196 against the bacteria S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, E. coli and C. albicans). The biocidal effect is based on the use of a coordinated mixture of different metals and metal salts. 
In addition, the masterbatch has been optimized to be biocompatible (tested according to DIN EN ISO 10993-5 on a human keratinocyte cell line).
